Little Cup - Leamington Spa

Where children play while the grown ups relax

A couple of weeks ago, during Half Term, we popped over to Leamington Spa to visit Little Cup.

Little Cup is a wonderful Cafe just off The Parade. The whole place is very child focussed.

We went over to take part in one of their Half Term activities - pizza making. Throughout the week they have scheduled staff led children's activities - music sessions and pizza making. All are available to book on their website.

The table was all set when we arrived with aprons, rolling pins and animal masks.

The pizza making session was £5 per child which I thought was a bargain.

They were each given a dough ball to make their pizza base and then were able to go mad with their toppings. There was tomato sauce, cheese, pepperoni, ham, sweetcorn and peppers. All tastes were covered. My two went for completely different toppings.

Once the pizzas were finished they were taken away to bake so the boys were able to play.

The whole cafe is completely child friendly. Everything they do is focussed on making families with young children feel welcome.

We sat for a while and read a book before the boys moved on to the magnetic wall and the lego wall.

All of the toys are scattered around for the children to freely play with. I made sure that the boys were sanitising their hands regularly as I wasn't sure on the cleaning process of the toys.

The pizzas took a while to cook as there was a few to do but the boys were happy playing so it didn't matter at all.

What's great about Little Cup?

  • Scheduled children's activities through the week.
  • Reading corner
  • Chalkboard
  • Magnetic Board
  • Lego Board
  • Plenty of space
  • Children's menu
  • Child and parent friendly toilets
  • Baby changing facilities
  • Take away pizza kits available

All of the food looked great. The boys had their pizza so we didn't have anything off the menu but the cakes looked amazing.

There was even an interactive board at the till to keep little ones entertained while you paid.

Everything was really affordable and the staff were so lovely and friendly.

Imagine a cafe where you can relax and enjoy great food and drinks while your little ones play in a safe and stimulating environment.

Overall I would say that it is more suited to Pre School Children. My eldest enjoyed it but think there is more focus on younger ones.
