After seeing pictures of poppy fields near to us on Instagram, it was my mission to find them.

Today we went for a drive through the countryside to find them.

They were absolutely breathtaking. Two fields next to each other, full of beautiful red poppies.

The boys were under strict instructions to keep to all the mown pathways and not to pick any. They bought some petals home from fallen poppies for their potion making. There were people in the middle of them, walking all over them for photos, which is just criminal. These fields are in the village of Condicote, Gloucestershire. I don’t have a postcode but you can see them for miles so we just headed in their direction. It took us about 25 minutes from Stratford upon Avon.

If you do visit, please please respect the poppies and be mindful when parking. The fields are directly on country roads and the roads are very narrow.
