We took a trip to the farm. It all felt very normal and was a complete novelty for the boys as we haven’t visited a farm in what feels like forever. The farm we visited is newly up and running to welcome visitors.

Roundshill Farm is on the outskirts of Kenilworth and is a family run farm. The lovely girl that hosted our visit explained that she is a fifth generation farmer. She was so passionate about the animals and the farm.

The boys were so excited to meet the animals. They got to meet and feed the pigs, sheep and goats. You can see how well looked after they all are. The girl explained how she had hand reared quite a number of them which was so lovely to hear.

Once we met the larger animals it was onto the smaller animals. The boys then got to hold a rabbit and guinea pigs and got to stroke a chicken. They loved the little squeaky noises that the guinea pigs made.

We then got some free time to go and see the larger animals again.

You get one free pot of animal feed included in your entrance price but you can buy extra pots for £1 each.

The site is pushchair and wheelchair friendly.

There is a hand washing station for all visitors to use and hand sanitiser is available which you are asked to use on arrival and before you leave. There are no toilet facilities unfortunately at the moment.

From what the girl was saying they have some amazing plans in the pipeline. We can’t wait to see them grow and flourish.

At the moment the farm is operating one hour time slots for one family/bubble at a time so you have the farm all to yourself. Pre booking is essential.
