The National Memorial Arboretum is open freely to all, all year round.

It is a British site of national remembrance at Alrewas near Lichfield, Staffordshire. Its objective is to honour the fallen, recognise service and sacrifice, and foster pride in the British Armed Forces and civilian community.

What is there for Children?

The Children’s Sensory Play Garden can be found near to the Remembrance Centre. A second children’s play area, with a picnic area, is near to the Children’s Wood.

There is also a Stick Man trail. Join Stick Man on his journey back to the family tree. You can pick up a free copy of the self-led trail from the Welcome Desk. The route may be unsuitable for some pushchairs and dogs can’t join you on the trail.

Pre booking your visit is recommended to guarantee entry.
